CRANBERRY LAKE 50
ALL NIGHT SPEED HIKE
14 - 15 MAY, 2010

We're discussing the details for this meet up in the Wakely Forum.

Hold SHIFT and move MOUSE to change viewing ANGLE and DIRECTION
Use SCROLL WHEEL to ZOOM - DRAG with LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to PAN
You need the Google Earth Plug-in to view map.

Here's a link to a Google Earth fly-over TOUR
After it loads, start tour by hitting the PLAY TOUR button top right.
Player controls will then appear bottom left so you can speed it up.
The trail overlay is not showing up so you can't see the actual trail once you go off road.
Plus the camera swings wildly like a drunk driver.  These are Google Earth beta issues I guess.

Enjoy!

... and now a word from our sponsor:

We are proud to add the Wilderness Running Company to our small family of Wakely sponsors!
Wakely runners and friends are eligible for a 10% discount on all Wilderness Running Company products plus free shipping!  Please use the coupon code "Wakely10" when ordering.  They have an excellent selection of products aimed exclusively at the trail running community.  Please support them by checking out their online store, reviews and blogs.

In honor of our unofficial official Wakely warm up event, "The Cranberry Lake 50 - All Night Speed Hike," the Wilderness Running Company is offering a limited time special on the Black Diamond Icon headlamp.  Order between now and May 1st and receive the Black Diamond NRG Rechargeable Battery Kit (a $30 value) free plus the 10% Wakely discount and free shipping!  That's a $90 package for only $54 plus free shipping if you use the coupon code "Wakely10" when ordering. (the battery kit will automatically come with your headlamp so no need to add it to your cart)  I bought this exact package and I can say this is the brightest headlamp I've ever seen.  With both spot and quad flood LEDs you won't miss a step on the darkest trail.

Please Note:  These guys ship really fast, but some may have to wait just a bit if this deal depletes their initial stock.
